Dairy free blackberry ice cream
Ingredients
- 250ml soy cream
- 30g Naturli Vegan Block (or other vegan butter)
- 65g vegetable shortening
- 400ml oat milk
- 125g blackberry puree
- 125g granulated sugar

Method
- Put the bowl of the ice cream machine in the freezer.
- Put the cream, milk, shortening, butter andd sugar into a saucepan. Heat gently until everything is melted and remove from the heat.
- Stir in the blackberry puree and allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
- Put the mixture in a container with a lid and leave it to cool in the fridge overnight.
- The next day, churn in the ice cream machine.
- Put it back in the container and leave the ice cream in the freezer for at least 2 hours to set up before eating.
